Professional Experience |
|
Mr.
Weston is a founding partner of the firm, a member of the Management
Board and Chair of the Land Development Department. His practice
includes all aspects of land use permitting matters and land use/environmental
litigation with particular emphasis on California Environmental
Quality Act/National Environmental Policy Act challenges. He has
an extensive background in environmental and commercial litigation
and substantial trial experience, both jury and non-jury, in the
federal and state courts.
Mr.
Weston's practice involves representation of major developers and
public agencies in the preparation and defense of development permits
and environmental documents. He regularly advises and assists clients
in obtaining development permits and approvals and devising legal
and political strategies for obtaining and defending agency action
on major projects. Steve is a registered lobbyist before the City
and County of Los Angeles and the State of California. He has also
been active in seeking legislative reform of environmental laws
before the California State Legislature.
