Ronald
A. Zisman, a U.S./Canadian dual citizen, was admitted to practice
in California in 1980. He relocated to Vancouver B.C., Canada in
1989. He is Licensed as a Practitioner of Foreign Law in B.C. He
practices U.S. immigration and nationality law with his law firm
Preshaw & Zisman in Everett, Washington and Vancouver, B.C. He earned
a B.A. degree from The University of California, Los Angeles and
a J.D. degree from McGeorge School of Law, UOP.
Mr.
Zisman is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association
(AILA). He lectures frequently in the area of U.S. Immigration Law
and has conducted seminars and courses for: Simon Fraser University;
Pacific Business & Law Institute; Chartered Accountants of British
Columbia; British Columbia Institute for Studies in International
Trade and other business and educational institutions.
He
has extensive experience in business immigration law and the immigration
aspects of the NAFTA Agreement between Canada and the U.S. His firm
has sponsored NAFTA related conferences with senior policy officials.
He is fluent in Spanish and French. Mr. Zisman has served as a Mentor
with the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
