More than 25 years of practice devoted exclusively to the representation of owner/developers, public entities, general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and design professionals in all aspects of construction law, including procurement, contract negotiations, litigation, arbitration, mechanic's liens, and claim preparation and defense. Guest Lecturer on Construction Law at Boalt Hall School of Law, 1989-1992. Mediator of over 300 construction, insurance and business disputes; arbitrator of more than 100 construction, insurance and business disputes. Member Large Complex Case Panel for Construction Disputes; Arbitrator on special panel established by State of California Office of Administrative Hearings.

Representative Cases Handled as a Mediator:
Have mediated more than 300 construction, insurance and business disputes ranging from two-party disputes to matters involving 40 or more parties. Have mediated numerous construction defect, delay, disruption, acceleration and breach of contract matters. Have mediated numerous insurance coverage cases, insurance subrogation cases and business contract disputes. Have mediated cases in California, Nevada, Arizona, Illinois, New York, and Mississippi.

Representative Cases Handled as an Arbitrator
Have arbitrated more than 100 construction, insurance and business matters including numerous construction defect, delay, disruption and breach of contract matters. Have arbitrated more than 25 public agency disputes as a member of special panel established by the State of California, Office of Administrative Hearings.

Multi-Party Dispute Resolution Experience:
Numerous multi-party construction defect cases.

Alternative Dispute Resolution Experience:
Mediated more than 300 construction, real estate, and business matters with particular emphasis on breach of contract, delay, defect, and cost-overrun cases. Arbitrated more then 25 matters for California Public Works Contract Arbitration Panel and more than 100 cases as arbitrator with American Arbitration Association. AAA Large Complex Case Program panelist and member of Advisory Committee
