John B. Jameson is the principal and founder of The Jameson Group, one of the leading legal attorney recruiting companies in the nation. Mr. Jameson started the company in 1987. Mr. Jameson personally specializes in partner and group placements.

Mr. Jameson is recognized nationally and internationally as one of the leading authorities on legal recruitment and attorney compensation. Mr. Jameson is also noted for providing legal expertise and compensation counsel to law firms and corporations and has served as a legal expert witness regarding attorney employment.

3. Education and Experience

Prior to beginning his career as an attorney recruiter, Mr. Jameson was a practicing attorney with Stroock & Stroock & Lavan. As an attorney, Mr. Jameson specialized in financial institutions, transactional real estate, corporate, securities and workout areas.

Mr. Jameson received both his J. D. and M.B.A. from the University of Southern California in 1981. He graduated with honors in business administration from UC Berkeley.

Mr. Jameson devotes extensive time and attention to giving back to the community. He gives both time and money to many different charitable organizations. He is currently the Legal Division Chair for the United Jewish Fund and is also actively involved with Vista Del Mar.
