Mr. Bonn is
admitted to practice law before all California State Courts, the
United States District Court for the Southern District of California,
and the United States Tax Court. He is affiliated with the Tax and
Business Law Sections of the American Bar Association, California
State Bar Association, and San Diego County Bar Association.
Mr. Bonn was
formerly the firm's Chair of the Tax & Estate Planning
Department, and a member of the Corporate & Securities
Department. He also serves as a member of the Executive Committee,
the Chair of the Ethics Committee and the Firm's General Counsel.
Before joining Sheppard Mullin, he was a partner in the law firm
of Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps and head of its Tax
Department.

Mr. Bonn has
been a frequent speaker for the American Bar Association, California
State Bar, California Continuing Education of the Bar, and other
professional organizations, including the Bureau of National Affairs,
New York University School of Continuing Education, and the
University of Southern California Institute on Major Tax Planning.
He has also served as an adjunct professor of law at the University
of San Diego School of Law.

Mr. Bonn is the author of a two-volume treatise entitled "Partnership
Taxation," published in September 1987 by Clark Boardman Callaghan &
Co., and which he supplements semi-annually.
