Hon. Lawrence C. Waddington (Ret.) participated in thousands of settlement conferences during his fifteen year tenure on the Los Angeles Superior Court, teaches negotiation skills and lectures frequently on mediation and arbitration.

Resolution Experience

• Mediation of numerous insurance issues involving policy interpretation, coverage, duty to defend/indemnity, allegations of bad faith, first party/third party mediation and arbitration, and collateral issues of workers compensation and medical liens
• Real estate disputes: commercial and residential, affecting unimproved real property, leases, title insurance, easements, buyer/seller, brokers
• Professional negligence: alleged against lawyers, doctors, nurses, chiropractors, hospitals and other professional groups
• Personal injury, wrongful death, product defect, premises liability
• Class actions: 17,200 cases Unfair competition, trademark, trade dress
